AntScope for iOS — Privacy Policy

AntScope for iOS does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data.
This policy applies to the AntScope mobile application for iPhone and iPad (“the App”), published on the App Store by Rig Expert Ukraine Ltd. (“RigExpert”, “we”, “us”). The App connects to RigExpert antenna analyzers over Bluetooth Low Energy and displays their measurements.
Our website, online store, product registration and service requests are covered by the general RigExpert Privacy Statement. This document describes only the App.
Information we do not collect
The App has no user accounts, no registration and no sign-in. It does not collect or transmit:
- your name, e-mail address, phone number or postal address;
- your location;
- contacts, photos, files or any other content from your device;
- device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA) or IP addresses;
- usage statistics, analytics, crash reports or diagnostic data;
- the measurements you take with your analyzer (they are shared only if you export them yourself, see below).
The App does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. It contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Data stored only on your device
To work, the App keeps a small amount of technical data in its own storage on your iPhone or iPad. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to RigExpert or anyone else.

The analyzer name may include its serial number. It identifies the instrument, not you.
Share and Export. When you tap Share or Export, the App creates a file with the current measurement (for example, a Touchstone .s1p file) and opens the standard iOS share sheet. The file goes only to the destination you choose (Mail, Files, AirDrop or another app). RigExpert does not receive it.
Bluetooth
The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy only to find RigExpert analyzers nearby, connect to the one you choose, send measurement commands and receive results. Data exchanged with the analyzer stays between the analyzer and the App on your device.
Permissions
The App asks for one permission: Bluetooth. It is needed to connect to your analyzer. The App does not request access to location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts or notifications.
You can allow or revoke Bluetooth access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth → AntScope. Without this permission the App cannot connect to an analyzer, but no other function is affected.
Third-party components and sharing
We do not sell, rent, share or transfer any data from the App to third parties, because the App collects none.
The App is built with open-source libraries for user interface and charts (Charts, IQKeyboardManagerSwift, Toast-Swift, LGSideMenuController, XLPagerTabStrip, CircleSlider). They run entirely on your device, do not connect to the internet and do not collect or transmit data.
The App is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may collect information related to downloads, purchases and crash reports under its own privacy policy. If you choose to share crash data with developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports.
Data retention and deletion
Settings and the analyzer name are kept on your device until you delete the App. Deleting the App from your iPhone or iPad removes all of this data permanently.
We hold no copy of App data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to retain, export or delete on request.
Children
The App is a tool for radio amateurs and professionals and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Because the App processes no personal data on our side, these rights are exercised simply by changing settings in the App or deleting it. Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App starts collecting any data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that version is released. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.
