RigExpert Supports Ukrainian Team at WRTC 2026

16.06.2026

RigExpert is proud to support the Ukrainian team competing at the World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) 2026, the most prestigious international event in amateur radio contesting.

The championship will take place on July 8–13, 2026, in East Anglia, United Kingdom, bringing together the world’s strongest contest operators for a unique test of skill, strategy, and teamwork.

Often described as the “Olympics of Ham Radio”, WRTC gathers the best operators selected through years of international competition and qualification. During the event, all teams compete under equal conditions: similar equipment, standardized antenna systems, and the same operating environment.

There are no technical advantages or shortcuts — only operator experience, preparation, teamwork, and the ability to perform during 24 hours of continuous radio operation determine the final result.

Ukraine’s Strong WRTC Legacy

Ukraine has already made history at the World Radiosport Team Championship.

At WRTC 2022 in Italy, the Ukrainian team represented by Yarik UW7LL and Yuri VE3DZ, operating as I44W, achieved an outstanding victory and became the Overall Winner, earning the highest score among all competing teams.

This remarkable result placed Ukrainian contesting among the world’s elite and demonstrated the exceptional level of skill, dedication, and preparation of Ukrainian operators.

A New Challenge in 2026

After claiming the world title in 2022, the Ukrainian team returns to WRTC 2026 with a new challenge — to compete once again against the strongest operators in the world and defend Ukraine’s championship legacy.

RigExpert is honored to support the team on this journey and contribute to the success of Ukrainian radio amateurs on the global stage.

We wish the team strong signals, excellent propagation, powerful pileups, and a performance worthy of champions.

Good luck — we are cheering for you! 🇺🇦
