RigExpert is expanding its global service network to bring professional support closer to our users in Europe. The results of the World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) 2026 have been rescored following an extensive review by the WRTC Judging Committee. According to the official rescoring report, substantial changes were made to the final standings and award winners following information received from the amateur radio community after the awards ceremony.

RigExpert is conducting a survey to better understand the needs, experiences, and expectations of radio amateurs who use antenna analyzers and VNAs. Antenna measurement is an essential part of many amateur radio activities — from setting up and tuning antennas to troubleshooting cables and working with more advanced RF systems. We want to learn more about how radio amateurs actually use these tools, what they find useful, and what could be improved.

Fobos SDR support in SDRangel has been expanded: following the introduction of native support on Windows, Fobos SDR is now available as a native SDRangel source on Linux as well. Native Fobos SDR support for Linux was officially added to SDRangel in version v7.27.0. The SDRangel release notes specifically mention that the native Fobos SDR source plugin was enabled for Linux.

Fobos SDR supports operation with SDR++, but the level of support depends on which module (plugin) is used. To get the full functionality of Fobos SDR, we recommend using the SDR++ Plugin from RigExpert, which was specifically developed for Fobos SDR and supports all device capabilities.

We've released a new agile firmware v3.2.0 that fixes a bug with frequency tuning and PLL lock. The update applies to rev2.0 (green) and rev3.0 (red) boards.

Starting with SDRangel v7.26.0, Fobos SDR support was officially added to the SDRangel project. We have also confirmed that it works successfully in the official SDRangel v7.26.1 Windows release.
